Empower360 Fitness offers a holistic Fitness, Nutrition and Body Confidence personal training & programs that is designed specifically for teenagers. There is no weigh-ins, measuring or calorie counting. The program focuses on what your body can achieve and how you feel about yourself as the measure of success, not what you weigh or how you look.

360 FITNESS

 The Empower360 Teen Fitness Challenge is a holistic, 360 degree fitness, nutrition & body confidence program designed specifically for teenagers. The Empower360 Fitness program runs over 8 weeks and offers simple, easy to follow workouts, a radical new approach to food and eating – not dieting, from Media Nutritionist Lyndi Cohen and some down to earth, no nonsense advice on how to start really loving your body. The Empower360 program will give teens the tools they need to develop a lifelong, healthy relationship with themselves, exercise and nutrition

The Empower360 Fitness program will be delivered almost entirely online, with one weekly ‘bootcamp’ style session to help participants feel supported and encouraged in a team environment and also to offer some guidance on the correct execution of each exercise.

Empower360 Fitness is like the cool older sister who’s always got your back, offering advice, guidance and inspiration for anything health and fitness related.

Pre-Registration

  • Pre-registration is open 1 month prior to the start of the first challenge

  • Register your details, pay the amount in full and create your online profile

  • Once payment is processed and online profile is created, you’ll have immediate access to the ‘getting started’ info – a rundown of what to expect and what is required of you, (fitness appraisal, any clothing or equipment they might need, pantry items to stock up on & some goal setting info).

  • Click on the map to find your nearest Outdoor location, register for that area and select your timeslot. Note: Initially only 1 timeslot will be available per area, this will be extended as the number of participants in each challenge increases

  • You’ll also be added to a private Facebook group for your challenge only, where you can connect with teammates, ask questions & share how you’re feeling

Go time

  • Each week you’ll receive 2 fitness programs (1 resistance, 1 cardio) and 1 module of the BodyLove e-course. Membership to BU online is ongoing and you can log on at any time through the Empower360 page.

  • In week 1, you’ll attend your first Outdoor session & complete a fitness appraisal to establish  where you’re at with your fitness and make sure you’re accessing the right level of workout program (Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced). As well as offering a starting point upon which you can build over the course of the program. YOU WILL NOT BE ASKED TO MEASURE OR WEIGH YOURSELF! If an outdoor location isn’t available, you can download the fitness appraisal, complete it at home and submit it online.

  • You’ll also be asked to complete a confidence/happiness appraisal to gauge how you feel about yourself and your body. These appraisals will be conducted again in week 4 as motivation and to keep participants accountable and finally in week 8 so you can celebrate how far you’ve come!

  • Throughout the program you’ll have the option to participate in weekly ‘challenges.’ These are a great way to switch up your thinking and do something you may never have done before. Don’t worry, we’re not going to ask you to get up and sing in front of your school or anything! Perhaps we might ask you to pay a stranger a compliment, or try making dinner for your family, or walk part of the way to school. Get on board, you might surprise yourself!
