Mango ‘Weiss’ Sorbet

Nothing says summer in Australia like the combo of sweet, juicy Mangoes and creamy Aussie-grown macadamias. The guys that make Weiss Bars got this right about a million years ago and a mango macadamia Weiss Bar has forever been a quintessential Summer flavour for me. This recipe has only 4 ingredients and be whipped up faster than a tourist burns on Bondi Beach.


2 cups frozen mango pieces

100ml coconut cream

100ml coconut water

Handful raw macadamias


Place all ingredients into a food processor and blend until creamy. You may need to stir once or twice. If you want a super creamy product, leave the macadamias out and top with crushed macadamias .

Note: I’ve tested this recipe in both a standard food processor and in a Nutribullet and the Nutribullet wins hands down. It worked quicker and produced a far creamier product.
